FNZ, provider of integrated wealth management platforms, today announced the appointment of Martin Jennings as COO for Australia and New Zealand.

In this newly-created position, Jennings will be responsible for strategic planning, product development and implementation, service delivery, and infrastructure management for the region. Over the last 12 months FNZ has increased its headcount by nearly 50% worldwide and has opened a new development centre in Brno, Czech Republic.

Jennings began his new role at the end of May and has relocated from London to FNZ's Sydney office. He reports directly to Adrian Durham, group CEO. He is joining an award-winning team at FNZ - the company and its client projects won a raft of awards in 2010, ending the year being named Platform Provider of the Year, at the Aberdeen UK Platform awards.

Before joining FNZ, Jennings held the position of managing director for AXA's Elevate platform, which is powered by FNZ. The wrap platform went live in 2008 and has received a 5 Star rating for the second year running from independent financial comparison company, Defaqto. In his 9 year tenure at AXA, Jennings has held several director positions - in marketing, business and product development.

Adrian Durham, group CEO of FNZ, said: "Martin knows the FNZ platform and our industry inside out, but more importantly he knows FNZ's culture and approach to delivering outstanding client service - having experienced this first hand. We have bolstered our development, delivery and management teams putting FNZ in a very strong position. I am pleased to welcome Martin on board at such an exciting time."

Martin Jennings commented: "Having worked with FNZ over the last few years it was clear to me that they deliver exceptional value to their clients. The company is experiencing rapid growth, and this aligned with the entrepreneurial culture of the business, made it an easy decision for me to join. I am looking forward to developing the company further and delivering significant growth in the ANZ region".
