SSP, a leading global provider of insurance technology, today announced the latest releases of its market leading insurer, managing general agent (MGA) and broker solutions following an £8m development programme during the last 18 months.
As part of its latest software upgrade programme SSP has taken the opportunity to rebrand its range of solutions. The rebranding presents a rationalised solution set that will reinforce the company's brand across the globe.
SSP chief executive officer, Laurence Walker said: "The market is challenging, change continues apace and in order to compete, the insurance organisations need to be able to respond to market demands. To do this they need current and appropriate solutions."
The upgraded solution set is designed with SSP's varied customers in mind to help them meet the challenges of today's fast-moving, competitive market. The benefits include enhanced online tools for self-service and remote access, increased flexibility and responsiveness, and the elimination of inefficiencies.
Plus, the upgraded solutions can all be delivered via the cloud so that clients can cut their IT expenses and avoid the overhead of maintaining their own systems while they focus on their business instead.
Walker added: "These upgrades are based on the feedback we received from the extensive global network of clients who already rely on SSP as their technology provider. The result is a comprehensive suite of truly modern solutions with the flexibility that insurance organisations need to compete both today and into the future. Rebranding our solutions in this way is a simple and effective way of leveraging the SSP brand as we continue to grow internationally."
Out-of-the-box insurance company and MGA solution S4i has changed to SSP Pure Insurance, while cutting-edge component-based solution InsureJ becomes SSP Select Insurance. For brokers, SSP's hosted and managed service S21 solution has become SSP Pure Broking and state-of-the-art contact centre solution Insight has become SSP Select Contact Centre.
Existing SSP customers will have the opportunity to migrate to these new solutions over the coming years.
