The Community Bankers Association of Georgia (CBA) has endorsed First Data Corporation, headquartered in Atlanta, as the preferred provider of mobile banking services for its 250 member community banks.

"CBA already endorses the Internet banking solution provided by First Data, which includes Internet banking and bill payment," said Carolyn Brown, president and chief executive officer of the Community Bankers Association. "Now we are pleased to expand that strategic relationship, as part of our continued effort to provide our members with quality products and services at competitive prices. The First Data Mobile Manager - mBanking solution integrates into First Data's Internet banking platform, offering our members and their customers a consistent experience with capabilities similar to online banking on a mobile device, with only one set of log-on credentials to manage."

First Data's Mobile Manager -- mBanking solution allows community banks in Georgia to rapidly implement mobile banking with robust functionality. The solution is a fully hosted and integrated service, which results in substantially lower costs for a financial institution than developing a solution in-house.

The mBanking product enables financial institutions to offer all three modes of mobile banking: SMS, mobile web, and downloadable applications, including a uniquely branded iPhone app available through the App Store online store.
