Commonwealth Bank unveils FX ATMs

Commonwealth Bank today announced details of 14 new Foreign Exchange ATMs (FX ATMs) launching across Australia, both in metropolitan and regional areas, which will see the Commonwealth Bank providing its customers with more FX ATMs than any other Australian bank.

The new FX ATMs will dispense American Dollars (USD 50), British Pounds (GBP 20), Euro (EUR 20) and New Zealand Dollars (NZD 50) up to a maximum of AUD $1000 to Australian issued debit and credit cards*.

Commonwealth Bank Executive General Manager, Retail Products and Customers, Michael Cant shares more information on the rationale behind this launch: "Commonwealth Bank is a leading provider of Foreign Exchange facilities through our extensive branch network, so the introduction of additional automated facilities extends our reach and provides further convenience and confidence for our customers and other Australians.

"The FX ATMs will provide customers with a quick, easy and convenient way to buy their foreign cash, with some terminals allowing 24/7 access" concluded Michael Cant.
