After the systems have been rolled out, Wincor Nixdorf will also take responsibility for their maintenance.

These new systems enable Poste Italiane offer its customers a lot more than only cash withdrawals. Additional functionalities include scanning and paying of invoices, for example. Furthermore, the systems ensure that cash withdrawals can be handled securely, since they are equipped with anti-skimming modules that prevent card data from being read and stolen. Poste Italiane placed particular emphasis on environmental characteristics. Documents are therefore printed on both sides to save paper, and the systems switch to standby mode to reduce power consumption.
