Starting today, Vienna Stock Exchange data vendors - financial information providers acting as wholesalers that disseminate the data worldwide - can subscribe to the price data of the Belgrade Stock Exchange via their existing data lines in the same format and structure as the VSE data.

Including this new member, the data network of the Vienna Stock Exchange now comprises the exchanges of the CEE Stock Exchange Group (Vienna, Budapest, Ljubljana and Prague) and the stock exchanges of Bucharest, Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Macedonia and Belgrade. Additionally, data dissemination includes the data of the CEGH Gas Ex-change of the Vienna Stock Exchange, the power exchange EXAA (Energy Exchange Austria) and the PXE (Prague Energy Exchange).

The Vienna Stock Exchange as data hub for the CEE Stock Exchange Group currently has 250 information providers as customers. 39 % of potential users come from the UK, 22 % from the US and 9 % from Ger-many. The share of Austrian terminals is 6 %.

The Belgrade Stock Exchange is one of Southeast Europe's emerging markets: At the end of January 2011, 1,583 companies were listed and market capitalization was EUR 7.67 billion.

The stock exchanges of Vienna and Belgrade have been working together since 2007. The Serbian Traded Index (SRX) launched in 2007 includes the largest and most liquid stocks of the Belgrade Stock Exchange. "It gives the Belgrade Stock Exchange access to the international customer structure and modern technical infrastructure of the Vienna Stock Exchange for its own data dissemination," says Heinrich Schaller, member of the management board of Wiener Börse AG and of the CEE Stock Exchange Group.
