O'Laughlin has led NCR's more than $2 billion global financial services business since March 2009 as vice president and general manager. Under his leadership, NCR has grown its global ATM market share and seen its NCR SelfServ family of ATMs become the most successful ATM launch in the company's history.

"Michael's deep commitment to NCR, fiercely competitive spirit and sharp business acumen have earned him the respect and support of his team and others he works with - myself included," said Bruno. "He knows what it will take for us to grow Financial Services revenue and margins and deliver an industry-leading customer experience."

O'Laughlin joined NCR in 2001. Prior to being named general manager of Financial Services, he served as the regional vice president for NCR's business in the Caribbean and Latin America, where he was responsible for driving growth of NCR's assisted and self-service solutions across the retail, financial, travel, healthcare, hospitality, gaming and public sectors. He formerly served as vice president of NCR Americas Services Sales and Marketing.

"For the past 24 years, financial institutions around the globe have turned to NCR for more ATMs than any other provider. I am pleased to be able to build on that legacy of innovation and customer trust," said O'Laughlin. "With new solutions such as our scalable deposit module and our APTRA Vision management software, NCR Financial Services is well positioned to build on our past success in both developed and emerging markets worldwide."

O'Laughlin joined NCR with 18 years in technology sales and engineering. He previously served Digiquant as vice president of sales and sales engineering for the Americas, driving the launch of Digiquant's IP services; provided sales and operational leadership as an Associate Partner in the Andersen Consulting Business Process Management organization; and held a series of sales and engineering positions at Convergys, Data General Corporation, AT&T Computer Systems and Storage Technology.
