YourCash, Europe's Largest Independent Provider of ATM Solutions has increased the number of Free to Use ATMs it operates within UK colleges and universities to over 100.

These ATMs process more than 200,000 transactions every month and have helped student unions recycle more than £3m of cash by using the very successful Merchant Fill proposition. This proposition allows student unions or other campus retailers to fill their ATM using their own cash takings, removing the time consuming and costly need to bank cash.

By having convenient access to a YourCash Free to Use ATM, students can check their bank balances to help them keep track of their finances, as well as being able to withdraw cash at no charge. YourCash ATMs also provide a useful mobile phone top-up service.

Lisa Whitehead, Finance, Nottingham Trent Students Union, said: "This arrangement has helped us to minimise our costs of cashiering, as we now have reduced security company collection charges and it has reduced our banking charges considerably".

"We simply want to provide a service to our students and the YourCash Free to Use ATM helps us achieve our objective of enhancing the lives of students studying here at Nottingham Trent".

"We are extremely happy with the on-going support given by the team at YourCash; we would highly recommend them to anyone in similar circumstances".

Jenny Campbell, Chief Executive of YourCash Ltd, commented: "We are delighted that so many student organisations have chosen a YourCash ATM. We welcome the opportunity to enhance the service that student unions provide and to help then reduce the cash within their commercial operations".

"Using cash as a payment method can really help those on a tight budget and we frequently hear about the lack of free ATM services in the education sector. We would urge student unions to speak to YourCash to find out more about our Free to Use ATM proposition".
