Alison has recently been living and working in Germany; she has now relocated to the UK and is based at Brady's London offices. She has extensive experience in the commodities market and speaks a number of European languages, with a degree in languages and marketing.

Alison has been involved in the metals/commodities markets since the 1980s, spanning a range of companies including Metal Bulletin, McGraw-Hill, Knight Ridder, Trimet AG and Amalgamated Metal Trading. Most recently Alison was head of Metal Bulletin's online sales and development team, focussing on real-time metals information services and developing the global key account relationships.

Gavin Lavelle, CEO of Brady, commented: "I am delighted to welcome Alison to lead our marketing activity. We have achieved major change and significant growth in recent years and, as we expect this to continue, we need someone of Alison's experience in our market sector to contribute to our goals. Her track record in marketing will be a tremendous asset in communicating and engaging with our clients. I am looking forward to working with Alison to help strengthen our brand, raise our market awareness and deliver our strategy."

Alison Ellmann said: "There is a clear sense of ambition within the company to be the leading global provider in the commodity and energy sectors. Joining Brady at this time is an exciting new challenge for me and I am keen to bring my experience and skills to bear on the tasks ahead as the company continues its strategy of expansion and acquisition."
