Atrium Network, provider of smarter connectivity solutions for the financial community, today announced connectivity to the Zurich-based SIX Swiss Exchange to enable lower latency non-encrypted access for its clients.

Atrium Network's global platform is designed to maximise trading participant's opportunities by offering one point of connectivity to the world's largest liquidity centres. Irrespective of client location, participants connect once and benefit from resilient, secure and flexible access to a range of exchange venues. By co‐locating at key liquidity venues, Atrium Network helps firms mitigate against significant co‐location investment.

Emmanuel Pellé, Chief Operating Officer of Atrium Network said, "Adding SIX Swiss Exchange to the extensive list of venues on our network offers our clients a greater choice of trading venues and in turn offers the clients of SIX Swiss Exchange a choice for access in the rapidly changing and developing connectivity market. We pride ourselves on being innovative in our approach to providing connectivity solutions and are therefore delighted to be amongst the first connectivity providers to enable non-encrypted access to SIX, simplifying connectivity and reducing latency."

Chris Landis, Head of Operations of SIX Swiss Exchange, added, "We've been working closely with Atrium Network to offer our low latency sensitive clients additional choice in how they connect and route to our exchange. Partnering with industry experts like Atrium Network allows our members to benefit from the new and more efficient connectivity approach of SIX Swiss Exchange."
