MoneyGram raids Western Union for compliance expertise

MoneyGram International (NYSE:MGI), a leading global money transfer company, today announces the addition of two new executive team members. The company has appointed Phyllis Skene-Stimac as senior vice president and chief compliance officer and also named Patricia Sullivan as senior vice president of communications.

Her broad global experience in anti-money laundering and regulatory programs will be instrumental in advancing MoneyGram's worldwide compliance efforts.

Sullivan joins MoneyGram with over 20 years of marketing and public relations experience in consumer brands and financial services, most recently as senior director of communications for Blockbuster, Inc. She will be responsible for reputation management, internal and external communications and helping to build positive and consistent brand awareness.
