Martin and Bell join SocGen electronic trading team

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking continues to strengthen its Quantitative Electronic Services team with the appointments of Ian Martin and Johnny Bell.

Ian joins the London-based team in both a sales and sales trading capacity focusing on UKbased institutions and hedge funds. Ian comes from BoA Merril Lynch where he was a Director within EMEA Execution Sales. Johnny will perform a hybrid sales and sales trading role, focusing on UK sell-side clients and some additional continental European markets. He joins from Credit Suisse and was one of the original members of the Credit Suisse AES (Advanced Execution Services) team.
Both Ian and Johnny will be based in London and will report to Mark Goodman, Head of Quantitative Electronic Services, Europe.
These appointments come at the end of a year of rapid expansion both in terms of product and appointments in electronic trading.
