Mr Yang's role will be to strengthen asset servicing solution strategy and market engagement to support growing demand in the region.

Mr. Yang will be based in the DST Global Solutions Shanghai office and will be responsible for solution management for the entire DST Global Solutions Asia region. Mr. Yang has over 10 years of experience in the investment management industry. His track record includes strategic and operational success with firms such as Citigroup, RBC Dexia and more recently HSBC. Mr. Yang is an expert in fund accounting practices and has the CFA Institute Charterholder qualification.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Yang said, "Asia represents a unique challenge for DST Global Solutions. We have over 100 clients in 7 countries, many of which are undergoing rapid development. These markets all have their own specific requirements and challenges. I will be focused on ensuring that our asset servicing solutions remain strong and aligned with the requirements of the region. An important aspect of my role will be to facilitate and be the principal contact point between our clients, regulatory bodies, and solution development and consulting teams. My aim is to ensure that our asset servicing solutions' roadmap matches our clients' requirements to help meet current and future demands."
