Direct Debit Limited, the Bacs-approved payments-management software provider, today announced that Eazy Collect, a Direct Debit collection bureau, has implemented PayCentre to automate its Direct Debit processes and collect payments more efficiently.

Eazy Collect uses Direct Debit Limited's PayCentre to manage Direct Debit collections from its health and leisure, charity, utility, and insurance company customers.

Direct Debit Limited's PayCentre has enabled Eazy Collect to automate and streamline payments transactions and the company now saves up to two days a month in administrative effort. This is because the PayCentre platform handles all the administrative processes associated with Direct Debits. It even generates letters for advance notices, unpaid items and payment schedules that employees would have created manually in the past.

In addition, PayCentre delivers comprehensive, tailored reports that detail past and present customer data and the performance of the company's business units, which provides Eazy Collect with a thorough view of its cash flow position.

"Implementing Direct Debit Limited's PayCentre platform has greatly improved the efficiency of our collections and we've saved hundreds of pounds a month in administrative costs," said Steven Hester, Director, Eazy Collect. "The software gives us an up-to-date view of our collections, so we can now make business decisions with greater confidence."

Mr Hester added, "Initially, we chose PayCentre to make our processes more efficient. But, as a growing company in a fast moving industry, we also wanted a software system that would meet our needs in the future, as new payment types, like SEPA Direct Debit, become part of our remit."

PayCentre has 12 modules including a Faster Payments facility and a module tailored specifically for bureaux. The platform manages different payment types, such as credit and debit card, Direct Credit payments and SEPA transactions, through a single user interface. Eazy Collect currently uses modules for collecting by Direct Debit and paying by Direct Credit.

Gerry Hill, Managing Director, Direct Debit Limited, said, "The payments industry continues to evolve and mature with the introduction of initiatives such as SEPA and Faster Payments. We designed PayCentre with this in mind and the modular nature of the platform allows customers like Eazy Collect to automate processes for all types of payments. In addition, the platform is scalable, so it can address future challenges and support new initiatives. We are pleased that Eazy Collect has been able to quickly realise the benefits that our payments automation software offers."
