SEB appoints Rikard Josefson head, Global Transaction Services

Rikard Josefson has been appointed the new global head of Global Transaction Services (GTS) and will assume his new position on 1 January 2011. Rikard Josefson is currently Head of Region East and Deputy Head of Retail Banking in Sweden and has a long background from both the SEB Merchant Banking and Retail Divisions. The recruitment process of Rikard Josefson's successor has commenced.

The business area GTS consists of three business units; GTS Corporates, GTS Banks and GTS Financial Institutions. To these client segments, GTS offers products in the areas of Cash Management, Leasing, Factoring, Trade Finance, and Custody.

SEB's Cash Management offering is today top ranked in the world when it comes to e-technology and customer satisfaction. SEB is the leading supplier of Custody Services in the Nordic and Baltic region, a very strong player in Trade Finance globally and a dominating one in our key markets in Northern Europe. The GTS organisation has 770 employees in 17 countries.
