Wincor Nixdorf, one of the world's leading providers of IT solutions and services to retailers and retail banks, today announced the launch of the Cineo 4060 cash recycling ATM, proven to reduce the costs and risks associated with cash replenishment and servicing.

This cash recycling solution is the latest in Wincor Nixdorf's revolutionary line of Cash Cycle Management(TM) solutions for retail banks.

The CINEO 4060 ATM can hold up to eight cassettes and includes an innovative banknote storage technology that optimizes cash replenishment and pick-up by automating cash processes. Additionally, this provides the bank the flexibility to offer a variety of note denominations - not just $10's and $20's. According to a recent Wincor Nixdorf survey, 88 percent of consumers would like to choose the denomination of bills when making a withdrawal at the ATM. The intelligent cassettes can also store more notes and provide information on the level of cash inside, and where and when the cassette was used or opened.

"Optimizing cash management is key to the success of retail banks. By combining innovative hardware and software processes with the intelligent management of cash streams between the bank and its customers, financial institutions can revolutionize their cash cycle management," said Wincor Nixdorf President, Jens Bohlen. "With our CINEO system, cash handling is limited to the teller. All cash is verified, counted and transported via innovative cassettes that are exchanged between the cash recycler, the ATM and the armored carrier. This saves costs and significantly improves security. The CINEO 4060 and our entire CINEO line is a true testament to our commitment to bringing innovative, forward-thinking, secure and reliable solutions to the retail banking industry."

The CINEO portfolio includes automated teller safes, cash recycling systems, ATMs, and transaction terminals, as well as innovative software and services. The CINEO 4060 ATM is the second in the CINEO line to be introduced in the U.S. in 2010. The first, the CINEO 6030 Teller Cash Recycler, was launched in June 2010.
