Tom Smart Execution becomes Eurex member

20 October 2010  |  2014 views  |  0 Source: Tom

Tom, The Order Machine, announces that Tom Smart Execution has become a member of the German derivatives exchange Eurex. This is part of the strategy of TOM Smart Execution to compare prices on multiple exchanges.

TOM Smart Execution currently compares prices in equities for its clients on various exchanges, including TOM MTF. The Eurex membership plays a key role in preparation for the subsequent phase, which is the introduction of derivatives being traded on TOM. The expectation is justified that - as for the stock market at present time - a shift of liquidity to alternative exchanges will take place in the derivatives markets.

Willem Meijer, CEO of TOM: "The role of TOM Smart Execution is to compare prices on various exchanges for our clients. Therefore in order to accomplish this, we are naturally looking beyond the borders of the Netherlands."
