Tibco Software (NASDAQ:TIBX) today announced Fincad, the industry standard for financial analytics, will leverage Tibco GridServer to significantly speed the time in which F3 Excel Edition and F3 SDK users run scenario analysis and comprehensive risk reports.

Providing the backbone of enterprise grids deployed by the world's most demanding businesses, TIBCO GridServer is one of the market's leading grid-computing infrastructure platforms. By dynamically scaling services and allocating computing resources based on service level agreements (SLA) and business-requirement policies, computation-intensive applications can run complex simulations quickly -- delivering results with greater speed and achieving more precise analysis than before.

"In the computational finance industry, timely access to information is key to success," said Ivan Casanova, director of cloud marketing, TIBCO Software Inc. "By spreading processing across thousands of commodity computers, TIBCO GridServer improves the performance of Monte Carlo simulations to efficiently generate F3's comprehensive risk reports and analysis of large, complex portfolios."

"With risk management and scenario analysis being a key focus for organizations, they need a fast, powerful tool that can run these complex calculations in less time," says Bob Park, President and CEO, FINCAD. "We recognize the importance of providing our customers with the ability to process complex portfolios and detailed risk analysis. Running F3 products using TIBCO GridServer provides clients with the best tools available."
