SmartCard-Service, the leading integrated solutions provider for payment and banking systems in Russia, is incorporating CreditCall's EMV kernel across 35,000 ATM machines and self-service kiosks in Russia and CIS, upgrading the Chip and PIN acceptance across the country.

SmartCard-Service provides payment systems, installation and technical support for both software and hardware to Russia's major banks including Sberbank, Russia's largest credit institution with over 20,000 nationwide branches.

CreditCall was approached to provide an EMV kernel primarily for ATM applications which was straightforward to integrate within Smart-Card's existing hardware and applications. The CreditCall EMV.LIB solution underwent in-house pre-certification testing and then gained certification by passing the EMVCo test lab's 4,000 tests first time, allowing almost immediate deployment in Russia.

Vladimir Evtushenko SmartCard-Service's CEO said "We are delighted working together with CreditCall on our Chip and PIN integration across Russia which could have been a time consuming and very complex process. CreditCall was able to provide an EMV Kernel which was easy to integrate and certify combined with a responsive and highly skilled level of technical support."
