NETbuilder strengthens software licensing controls

NETbuilder, the provider of high quality technology and consulting capabilities to the financial services sector, has today announced that as part of a major software upgrade to its flagship LANDmark platform, it has strengthened the license key management component within the system for deployed services bringing greater security.

The key benefits of the strengthened controls include the prevention of unauthorized use of applications or features outside of a license, which in turn drives down the cost for legitimate users.

LANDmark offers comprehensive access to market data coupled with a sophisticated order management and trade execution platform, and has been widely used within the industry since 1992. With a strong focus on compliance to license constraints, every component may be separately licensable with separate and distinct license expiry dates.

Andy Boniface, Development Director, comments; "The new software licensing controls are highly flexible in so far as every separate table in the system can be separately licensed with multiple expiration dates bringing security to a better level. By preventing unauthorized use of our software, we are helping to keep prices low for our legitimate paying clients."
