This application is an extension of unbiased.co.uk's leading online 'find an IFA' search - which is the most comprehensive resource for consumers looking for an IFA near them.

The application is free to download, and users simply type in their postcode to find an IFA close to where they live or work. Searches can be refined by selecting the area of financial advice in which they would like the IFA to specialise. The results page details the eight best matched IFAs according to their distance from the specified postcode. The user is then able to go on to view further information about the IFA and call or email the IFA directly from the application, or visit their website.

Unbiased.co.uk has always been at the forefront of online technology and has a long-standing track record of putting consumers in touch with the best suited IFA for their needs. With the 'find an IFA' search already available across over 60 partner websites - including newspaper sites, portals and product provider sites - developing the 'find an IFA' iPhone application was a natural extension of this work.

Karen Barrett, Chief Executive of unbiased.co.uk comments, "Our new iPhone application is the first to allow consumers to search for a local IFA at the touch of a button. It offers the same quality results and detailed information as the well established 'find an IFA' search on the unbiased.co.uk website which currently puts around half a million consumers in touch with IFAs each year."

Those wishing to download the free 'find an IFA' application can find it both under the Finance and Lifestyle categories of the Apple Application Store.
