DBC Smartsoftware opens Brazil office

DBC Smartsoftware ("dbc"), a leading provider of solutions for the global agriculture and soft commodity markets, today announced it has broadened its international support network to include Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The dbc team will focus predominantly on the Agriculture, Soft Commodities and Biofuel industries; fortifying the existing five-year OpenLink presence.

"Expanding our dbc operations into South America is an important component of providing local support for our geographically diverse client base" said Mr. Henry Bonner, CEO, dbc SMARTsoftware, an OpenLink Company. He added, "South America is a key region for global Agribusiness and we are responding to the increasing demand for software solutions to manage origination, production and distribution of all Agriculture commodities including Ethanol."

OpenLink's CEO Kevin Hesselbirg went on to add, "By fortifying our Brazil office we are best able to serve global industry participants whose worldwide presence includes Latin America, as well as the companies who are part of a significant region in the world Agribusiness stage. Mr. Hesselbirg went on to say, "We are very familiar with the challenges and complexities of commodities markets, and are pleased to be providing South American companies and trading firms our advanced solution suites to support these dynamic markets."
