Headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa, Peresys specialises in the delivery of FIX-enabled applications and services to both the buy and sell sides, and has helped facilitate the introduction and growth of electronic access to the entire African continent.
Peresys will offer solutions based on StreamBase complex-event processing (CEP) technology that will enable African buy-side firms to monitor the performance of their orders relative to order flow in the market during the same period. The information is then delivered through a custom built .Net front-end.
"These metrics showing the relative performance of the orders in real-time put the buy side dealer in an informed position when evaluating a broker's service intraday," says Peresys Director Derek Crous.
Richard Tibbetts, CTO of StreamBase commented: "We are pleased to partner with Peresys and look forward to leveraging Peresys' broad understanding of the market and relationships with the local financial community to deliver tailored trading solutions powered by StreamBase CEP."
The partnership will be launched at the FPL African Briefing on Monday, September 20 at the Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town where Peresys will be jointly exhibiting solutions built on StreamBase CEP along with their existing product lines.
