Vertex, a leading international Customer Management Outsourcing business with clients in the private and public sectors, has strengthened its financial services team with the appointment of Phillip Samuels as Consulting Director.
Phillip's focus will be to provide clients with consultancy services to help them strategically deploy Vertex's core services. He will report directly into Ameet Phadnis, Director of Consulting.
Phillip has 28 years of management consultancy experience in retail financial services and local government. He joins Vertex from BT Global Services where he was head of Insurance. His other roles include a position on the UK Life Board of Zurich Financial Services and at Gemini Consulting (the management consulting arm of Capgemini), where he was responsible for the South African financial services business and the establishment of its insurance business.
