The Market Aggregates product combines the power of FactSet's database technology alongside FactSet Fundamentals, FactSet Estimates, and FactSet Prices to derive ratios and per share values on an aggregate level.

FactSet Market Aggregates provides the insight needed to accurately gauge market sentiment and perform robust comparative company analysis. Clients can analyze custom portfolios and indices with the same level of detail and transparency used for security analysis.

In the past three months FactSet has added more than 30 new metrics to the Market Aggregates offering. Clients can now access over 50 metrics for more than 3,500 commercial indices as well as their own portfolios and peer universes. The product provides unique functionality, including the ability to click on any aggregate number to see the security-level data and underlying calculations. Other key enhancements and highlights of FactSet Market Aggregates include:
• Robust breadth of data including credit ratios such as Funds from Operations/Total Debt, Operating Income/Sales and Net Debt/EBITDA
• Profitability ratios including EBIT, EBITDA, Free Cash Flow, Gross and Net Margins growth statistics for Dividends, EBIT, EBITDA, EPS, and Sales
• Consistent and transparent calculation methodology across all metrics
• Customizable features that enable clients to calculate aggregates based on custom portfolios, watchlists, and comparables.

"FactSet Market Aggregates has greatly enhanced our clients' ability to conduct benchmark and industry analysis on FactSet," explains Peter Walsh, FactSet's Chief Operating Officer. "So far, the feedback has universally been that the history, breadth of data, and transparency are extremely valuable to our clients."

The expanded data metrics are currently available in FactSet with any subscription to FactSet Estimates, FactSet Fundamentals, or FactSet Economics.
