VocaLink appoints Nick Daniel sales director, transaction services

VocaLink, the international payments specialists, today announces that Nick Daniel is joining the Transaction Services Division as Sales Director.

Nick will report into Nick Masterson-Jones, Managing Director of Transaction Services. The appointment will help support VocaLink's commercial growth ambitions in the UK and internationally.

With 25 years' experience in the IT and financial services industry, Nick Daniel has held various sales and management positions in the UK, Europe and Latin America. Prior to joining VocaLink, he worked for CB.Net, the international payments reference data supplier, as Head of Business Development.

In his new role as Sales Director for Transactions Services, Nick will be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities for the division in the UK and internationally, as well as supporting the development of existing schemes.

Nick Masterson-Jones, Managing Director, Transaction Services, VocaLink, said of the appointment, "We are delighted to welcome Nick to the company. He brings a wealth of personal contacts combined with an understanding of payments industry initiatives, issues and participants to bear in his role as Sales Director. His considerable experience in the industry will give enormous support to our commercial growth targets for the division across the UK and beyond."

Also within Transaction Services, Liz Oakes has been appointed Industry Relations Director, reporting to Chris Dunne, Director of Strategy.
