SS&C Technologies Holdings (Nasdaq:SSNC), a global provider of financial services software and software-enabled services, today announced the appointment of Phil Banas as Managing Director, Australia.
Mr. Banas previously ran North American sales for SS&C, having joined the company through its acquisition of Financial Models Corporation, where he served three years as Sales and Marketing Director and five as Managing Director of European operations. Most recently he was with DST International as a Senior Vice President.

In his new role, Mr. Banas will be responsible for SS&C's Australian business and will work in close partnership with his SS&C counterparts in Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo and Singapore to offer the full benefits of SS&C's platform to clients and prospects.
