Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), the leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, announced today that Paul Allen, CPA, has joined the Company as a Senior Bank Strategist for Bank Intelligence Solutions. Allen joins Fiserv from Independent Bankers' Bank of Florida where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. A former client, Allen brings more than 20 years of senior financial management expertise and proficiency in leveraging Fiserv online advisory tools in best practices implementations. In his new position, Allen will advise clients and develop data-driven strategies to help them capture revenue opportunities and build franchise value.
In his capacity as Senior Bank Strategist, Allen will conduct online planning sessions with clients leveraging the web-based solutions, BancAnalyst(R) Financial and BancAnalyst Market. Using these solutions, Allen will help clients to analyze and quantify opportunities for growth and guide them in critical areas such as earnings enhancement, incentive compensation, budgeting resource allocation, branch rationalization, target market programs and market expansion.
Prior to his role at Independent Bankers' Bank of Florida, Allen served as Senior Vice President of Audit, Planning and Budget at First Federal Savings Bank. He has significant experience advising on Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) issues, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) planning, merger and acquisition transactions and corporate governance matters. Currently, Allen serves as Chairman of the Board of Florida Bankers Insurance Trust (FBIT) and the Trust Management Group (TMG).
