Distribution Technology (DT), the UK's leading provider of financial planning and sales technology, has attained Gold Partner Accreditation in Microsoft's world recognised partner programme.

DT was awarded Gold Partner Status, Microsoft's highest level of accreditation, after satisfying the rigorous entry criteria including securing Microsoft certification for employees, gaining Microsoft's approval for its proprietorial software range and obtaining customer endorsements.

As the internationally recognised accreditation has to be maintained, DT's client base can be sure that its provider will strive for consistently high standards and is subject to regular testing from Microsoft.

Ben Goss CEO of Distribution Technology said, "I am delighted that the efforts of our team and the support of our clients have enabled us to attain coveted Gold Partner status from Microsoft. Over the last year in tougher economic times our turnkey products based on Microsoft's technology have played a critical role in helping financial services organisations improve the productivity and compliance of their distribution. Their continued rapid adoption is testament to their value."

Gordon Ejsmond-Frey, Microsoft's Insurance Industry Director for EMEA said, "At Microsoft we are committed to working with partners to address the industry's major challenges. Distribution Technology's solutions solve fundamental issues around productivity and compliance in the Advisory Services space. We congratulate DT on their accreditation and look forward to working closely with them as a Gold Partner."
