Financial Objects, a leading supplier of advanced technology banking software and services, today announced that C. Hoare & Co., the leading independent private bank in the UK, has gone live on its activebank retail banking software after a complex core systems replacement project run jointly by both organisations.
The new system will be used to process the daily banking requirements of the banks clientele, which include high net worth individuals, trusts, charities and businesses.
Paul Carter, IT Director, C. Hoare & Co., said: "We have always been impressed by Financial Objects' dedication to using new technology to deliver value and quality and this has again been justified when the joint implementation team successfully moved our core banking applications across to the activebank system last weekend. The cross-over of the system at the weekend was well planned and its smooth transition from one system to another was testament to the joint team's dedication and professionalism."
Peter Watts, Director, ActiveBank Division, Financial Objects, says: "C. Hoare & Co.'s decision to implement activebank originally for their Treasury Group functions and now for their core banking system was a strong vindication of our Microsoft .net approach. We have gone live with this system using the banks preferred Oracle database and have found that the processing performance has exceeded our highest expectations."
