Optial, the Operational Risk specialists, announced today that it has launched its new OpRisk Reporting and Analytics tool.
The new tool, powered by the existing Optial Business Intelligence (OBI) software, offers companies greater capacity to enhance their own OpRisk (loss event, risk management and compliance data, etc) data with data from external sources and collate detailed enterprise-wide OpRisk Reporting and Analytics.
This greater capability will support all ad hoc queries, trending analysis and corporate governance requirements as well as providing a sound basis for regulatory requirements such as Basel II, Solvency II, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.
OBI is built on Microsoft's Analysis and Reporting Services technology (which is part of the SQL Server 2005/2008 family of products).
Chris O'Brien, CEO of Optial, said "Optial continues to demonstrate its innovation and commitment to solving its customers' requirements by delivering new capabilities and innovations which are part of an expanding range of enhancements designed to deliver a best in class Risk Management service to our clients".
