Chris Potts joins Rule from his previous position as President and Chief Executive of 3i Infotech's Western Europe operation.

Rule Financial has experienced unprecedented rates of growth over the past three years, featuring in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 for two consecutive years and expanding globally into Europe and the USA. During this time revenue and staffing levels have increased substantially and three overseas offices have opened successfully in New York, Barcelona and Łódź.
Meanwhile, some aspects of the banking world have changed beyond recognition, bringing the relevance of Rule's expertise in Securities Finance, Risk and Liquidity Management into even sharper focus.

The appointment of Chris Potts is the culmination of a period of strategic planning and development which has included global expansion together with a move last month for Rule's London Headquarters from Moorgate to larger premises in Bunhill Row.

Chris Potts has a PhD from Cambridge University in geophysics and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management. He began his career in oil exploration and has also served with the Territorial Army and as a councillor at Westminster.

Among many posts he has held in a long and successful career, Chris Potts was previously a Director of Cap Gemini, a Partner at Cap Consulting and CEO of Misys Asset Management, from which he led a management buy-out to form Rhyme Systems.
