Evo Merchant Services, one of the largest privately held non-bank payment processing companies in the country, announced today its launch of the American Express OnePoint ("OnePoint") program to its Sales Offices.
With OnePoint, EVO can bring small businesses a way to streamline payment acceptance for all major card brands. EVO performs set up, front-end processing, funding, customer support, merchant statements, and reporting for American Express Card acceptance, thereby providing merchants with a one stop processing relationship for all card brands. American Express will continue to retain the card acceptance contract with participating merchants, establish merchant pricing, receive the secure transactional data it does today, issue cards and authorize transactions.
