This Sao Paulo PoP provides connectivity for banks, exchanges and other financial institutions to local and domestic trading floors in Brazil, delivering simple, secure, fast access to the global trading community. Several large US brokers are already benefiting from the performance of Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions' MPLS global trading network for voice and data connections.

Frederic Blanc, Vice President of Strategic Projects, Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions said, "We are committed to providing the best global connectivity possible and with next to no tier one providers in South America offering local or international connections we consider the opening and running of the first PoP in Sao Paulo to be a significant strategic move in supporting our customer's global requirements. We will continue to enhance and grow the Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions' community by adding other South American cities to the network, including connecting remotely with Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro via our Sao Paulo PoP."
