Pritchard Stockbrokers Ltd is the latest company to sign up to settlement via EMXCo's automated link with Euroclear UK and Ireland.

Following a number of companies who have already signed up to this service, Pritchard will join a growing list of participants who will be able to enjoy the benefits of automating funds transactions from order through to settlement.

David Welsby, Finance Director of Pritchard said: 'As a company it is important for us to evolve to improve efficiency for our clients. By joining the EMX Settlement System we can streamline funds processing and use one solution for order routing and settlement to achieve end to end straight through processing. This initiative from EMXCo is a positive step for the industry as a whole.'

Yannic Weber, CEO of EMXCo said: 'I am delighted to be able to announce yet another company joining the EMX Settlement System and welcome Pritchard on board. With fund sales at a record high in 2009, funds as an asset class are becoming more attractive to investors. The integrated routing and settlement system from EMXCo and Euroclear UK & Ireland is the only fully automated funds solution on the market and a quantum leap to straight through processing and much lower cost.'
