Jack Henry & Associates (Nasdaq: JKHY), a leading provider of integrated technology solutions and data processing services for financial institutions, today announced that Montana-based Whitefish Credit Union Association has selected Symitar as its technology partner and Episys as its technology platform.
This credit union, which has approximately $1.2 billion in assets and is the largest in the state of Montana, will install Episys in-house.
According to James Kenyon, CEO of Whitefish Credit Union Association, "For us to move forward, we knew that we needed a more robust system. Our credit union does not currently offer home banking or operate our own ATMs, and we want to do both. And we are confident in Symitar's ability to provide the necessary tools and technology. But there were two key factors beyond the technology that swayed our decision in Symitar's favor. First, we know that a conversion can be difficult and we saw great value in Symitar's conversion plan and in the resources it is willing to devote to our conversion. Second, we were impressed with the commitment shown by every Symitar employee we worked with, from the sales team to Symitar's top executives."
Kathy Hooker Burress, president of Symitar, said, "We are honored to welcome Whitefish Credit Union Association as our 51st billion-dollar credit union. At Symitar, we take great pride in our ability to meet the technology needs of credit unions of all sizes - including the largest, multi-billion dollar credit unions. And it is gratifying to know that the search team at Whitefish recognized not only our superior technology, but our distinct commitment to service and to client satisfaction."
