Thunderhead, one of the world's leading providers of customer communications management solutions, today announced 30% year on year growth in new revenues in 2009.

As a result of this strong business performance and a positive outlook for 2010, Thunderhead is expanding its sales and marketing operations, in the U.S and Europe, to accelerate the growth of the business.

To accommodate this anticipated growth, Thunderhead has completed the appointment of two key executives to the management team:-

Julie Holland joins the board as a non-executive director.

Julie has extensive senior management experience across a broad portfolio of companies and markets. She has delivered consistent growth and board leadership within complex global organisations. Julie brings a network of contacts and insights that will support Thunderhead's continued rapid growth.

Julie's role will be to guide senior management in all aspects of the business and particularly in the areas of planning, resourcing, and sales. She will leverage her contacts and experience into exploring new strategies and partnerships.

Richard Burdge joins as Global Chief Marketing Officer

Richard will have responsibility for all of Thunderhead's marketing and communications activity worldwide.

Before Thunderhead he has worked with companies such as Sky, HP, Vodafone, SAP, Société Générale, NYSE Technologies, IG Index, and has experience of both client and agency marketing communications in online and offline environments. Richard will report to Thunderhead CEO, Glen Manchester.

Julie Holland commented that: "Thunderhead has established a next generation technology leadership position in the customer communications management sector. To achieve 30% year on year revenue growth in 2009, against the backdrop of a difficult economic climate, bears testimony to the strength of the product and the immediate benefits experienced by an increasing number of new customers in terms of return on investment. I am pleased to be joining such an exciting company and look forward to helping Thunderhead fulfil its potential."

CEO Glen Manchester commented: "I am delighted with the strong financial performance in 2009. Our continued growth allows us to strengthen and expand our operations globally leading to the need for an enhanced management team. We have added two key experienced executives in Julie and Richard as the first stage of a global program of investment in the talent and experience we need to drive our continued global growth.

Thunderhead finances its own growth and the excellent outcome from 2009 is allowing us not only to build our execution resources but also to further our investment in the development of our already market leading technology, enabling our clients to transform the experience of their customers with personalised, multi-channel dialogues."
