With the launch of arrowhead, the next-generation trading system for cash equity, ETFs, ect., on January 4, 2010, the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) has established today the Co-Location Service Promotion Office from the perspective of further promotion and improvement of the Co-Location Service.
As you may be aware, the TSE began provision of Co-Location Service in May 2009. The service is aimed at minimizing the latency of order submission and market information transmission by allowing Trading Participants to locate their devices such as order placement servers at the same building, TSE Primary Site, where the trading system and market information system of the TSE are operating. With the launch of arrowhead, which boasts processing capability of the world's highest standard, the TSE establishes a new "Co-Location Service Promotion Office" to promote and enhance the Co-Location Service to respond to the demands of Trading Participants, thereby creating a more user-friendly and efficient market.
