Odyssey is pleased to announce that Bank Nagelmackers Brussels has successfully interfaced Odyssey's Front Office Triple'A portfolio management system with their new Thaler Back Office system. This Back-to-Front (B2F) and Front-to-Back (F2B) workflow was completed on 1st January 2005.
This migration was delivered on time and on budget thanks to Odyssey's new Gateway Pack solution and the commitment and cooperation of Nagelmackers' and Odyssey's technical and business teams.
The Gateway Pack has helped the bank to build the interfaces on their own, while minimising their consultancy implementation costs.
Odyssey's Gateway Pack is a tool that has been purposely designed to provide more autonomy in integration activities to financial institutions. It includes a predefined package of all required components to deliver a B2F and a F2B interface, while maximising time and cost savings in building interfaces.
Its versatility, combined with the robustness and high extensibility of the Triple'A data model, makes it easy to build and to reconfigure interface data flows, and to mix batch and real-time data flows in a variety of methods.
The Gateway Pack saves time and increases the quality of interface development thanks to the implicit data validation performed by the XML schema: the data is available, in the right format, for the right field of the target application.
