StatPro adds ex-FactSet men Ruby and Campbell to sales team

StatPro Group plc, a leading provider of portfolio analytics and data solutions for the global asset management industry, has appointed Robert Campbell and Christopher Ruby as new members of the European Business Development and Sales team headed by Tim Dennis.
Christopher Ruby is appointed Business Development Manager UK and Scotland. In this role he will work with the existing Account Managers and will be responsible for building strategic relationships and selling addition analytical solutions to existing clients. Robert Campbell is appointed Business Development Manager New Business UK and Ireland. In this role he will focus on selling StatPro's performance measurement and data solutions to Buy Side clients. Both positions are based at StatPro's London office.
StatPro is expanding rapidly in the UK and Europe and these new hires complement and strengthen the UK sales team. The appointments follow the selection of Tim Dennis as European Sales Director in June and Mark Grobien as Paris-based Business Development manager for the German market in October.
Christopher Ruby has nine years of experience working in the finance and technology industry. He spent six years at FactSet Research Systems, starting as a senior consultant in the US; he moved to London in 2006 where he progressed his career in the sales team. He also worked for RINET in 2003 as a member of the investment advisory team, and ran his own IT business in Boston from 2001 to 2003.
Originally from Australia, Robert Campbell has ten years experience spent in various business development roles. Prior to joining StatPro Robert worked at FactSet Europe, the financial technology software provider, as a Business Development Manager for three years. From 2003 to 2006 he worked for Loftex, a world-leading Chinese textile manufacturer, as a Business Development Manager, based in Australia. He also worked for E*Trade Australia as a Trading Specialist and for Heibei University in China earlier in his career.
