List Group, the independent electronic trading software provider behind 15 of Europe's electronic markets, today announced the appointment of Mark de Nieffe as senior sales manager in London to support its UK expansion plans.

Mark is a qualified advisory stockbroker and equity trader with over 20 years' experience selling financial technology solutions gained at companies such as Fidessa LatentZero, CheckFree and Netik PLC.

Stefano Falciani, managing director, List UK, comments: "Mark brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise which will help us continue to accelerate the growth of our business globally and particularly in the UK. Despite the financial crisis and challenging market conditions List Group's multi-asset class and operational risk analysis solutions are in demand as they enable financial institutions to streamline and improve efficiencies from a single, flexible platform."

Mark de Nieffe, senior sales manager, List Group, says: "I am proud to join a company with such a reputation like List Group. Since 2005 when the company launched its London office, the quality of its people, products and services have ensured a rapid uptake among UK-based financial services firms. I plan to help List build on this success and ensure clients and potential clients take full advantage of the List Group product set."
