Document management is an important component of the recently launched Investmaster Wealth Relationship Management (Investmaster WRM) platform, a complete product suite for client management.

Investmaster recognises that effective document management systems are essential for wealth managers to meet growing "business continuity" and regulatory requirements and to provide high quality client service and reporting. The full back-up that comes as part of the Equipos solution ensures a complete audit trail, bringing users in line with current compliance regulations. It also offers a full document management infrastructure that can be linked with Investmaster’s back office systems Wealthmaster Settlement and 4i-Core, to facilitate workflow management and full STP (straight through processing).

As part of its partnership with Equipos, Investmaster will market and sell two products on behalf of Equipos, as well as undertake implementation projects, provide ongoing consultancy, and complete support and helpdesk services for customers of Equipos products. The Equipos Frisk Server is a versatile middleware integration engine providing automated document processing and composition. It is capable of manipulating and distributing documents in a wide range of formats including print, email, fax or File Transfer Protocol (FTP). The browser based Document Warehouse product from Equipos creates a data, document and knowledge storehouse for electronically held or scanned data. This allows data to be viewed securely without the need to use the software application that generated the original document.

Together the Equipos products provide full document management facilities including cataloguing, collation, storage, document decomposition and re-formatting, report writing, document association, production management and distribution. They offer a flexible way to produce and distribute sophisticated client report packs and help wealth managers to gain faster access to documents, cut costs through reduced storage space and duplication of documents, and maintain full backup in the event of a disaster. All client documents are held in a single location and therefore easily accessed, enhancing customer service.

Frisk and Document Warehouse can be fully integrated with Investmaster's back office systems Wealthmaster Settlement and 4i-Core, which provide trade execution, settlement, custody and portfolio management. They can also be integrated with other suppliers back office solutions, linked to other systems, or purchased as standalone solutions.

Simon Tizard, Strategic Development Director of Investmaster commented: "Document management capabilities are an important element of Investmaster’s recently launched Investmaster Wealth Relationship Management platform and it is an area that is of growing importance to Investmaster’s customer base. The Equipos product range, together with Investmaster’s support and services infrastructure, will provide customers with an unparalleled combination which will bring greater straight through processing, superior client reporting and client servicing, along with operational and cost benefits."

Damian Bryan, Managing Director of Equipos added: "High quality client reporting is essential for wealth managers and Equipos provides a sophisticated solution to achieve this. We believe that partnering with a market leader in the wealth management solutions sector such as Investmaster will help us to increase our growing customer base in the financial sector."
