The appointment comes as the Global Transaction Services business continues to enhance its dedicated resources for the public sector in Asia Pacific and globally.

In this newly created role, Sanjeev will be responsible for structuring solutions, deepening relationships and developing strategic partnerships with Global Transaction Services' new and existing public sector clients. Sanjeev will report to Anthony Nappi, Managing Director, Regional Head of Global Transaction Services, Asia Pacific and Filippo Sabatini, Managing Director, Global Head of Public Sector, Global Transaction Services.

Prior to his new role, Sanjeev was responsible for driving the sales strategy for Global Transaction Services' public sector client segment base. Since joining Citi in 1998, Sanjeev has held positions within the Global Transaction Services business, including Regional Corporate Payments Head and a variety of key sales roles in cash management and trade in India.
