The long standing client has used Salerio since the late 1990's for their post-trade exception management - automating the trade confirmation and settlement of equity and fixed-income securities.

The decision to upgrade to the latest version of Salerio was taken following a review of their post-trade processes in which a number of solutions were looked at. Salerio was ultimately chosen because of the depth of functionality included out-of-the-box and the ease and speed with which is could be integrated with existing front and middle-office systems.

"By upgrading to the latest version, our client was able to take advantage of an enhanced user interface, improved performance, new features such as stock recall messages as well as standardised interfaces to Omgeo and SWIFT." said Carl Jenkins, Lead Salerio Implementer.

As an out-of-the-box solution, Salerio minimises support overheads and makes upgrading and implementing new modules, such as the settlement tracking solution, easier in the future.
