Electio, a company established by Iliad Solutions Limited, and a team of senior people from the payments industry including Richard Launder, former President Global Operations at ACI, was launched today.

The company will focus on the provision of a broad range of consultancy and technical services to financial institutions, payments software manufacturers and the contracting community. Electio will deliver the first genuine "one stop" option for organisations seeking professional services to implement, migrate, extend, support or develop payment systems. Addressing the need for a credible organisation that can provide independent services and support, Electio provides a vital service at a time of change and upheaval in the payments software arena.

Richard Launder, Chairman of Electio said: "I have always believed that client service is a critical component of any business. In over thirty years working for suppliers to the payments industry, I strove to ensure that this was core to the thinking of the companies I worked for and their people. With Electio, we will ensure that the payments industry continues to have access to high quality service and personnel during a time of great uncertainty and change. Electio will uphold the ethos of customer service, and keep its clients at the core of its thinking and operation".

Echoing Richard's sentiments, Anthony Walton of Iliad said "The Iliad team has focussed hard on providing its clients with high quality tools and services in payments testing and associated areas for over 13 years. With Electio, we believe that we are uniquely positioned to marry that heritage with the experience and credibility of Richard Launder and his team, to meet a genuine need in the market. We will deliver a service that directly addresses the concerns and requirements of our clients, providing and facilitating high quality consultancy, technical and support services".
