Ravenpack taps Alphacet Discovery for news-derived analytics research

Alphacet, a developer of innovative software solutions for quantitative analysts, portfolio managers and traders, today announced that it has partnered with Ravenpack, a leading global provider of news analytics technology and content, to support Ravenpack's internal research and development projects.

According to the agreement, Ravenpack will use Discovery to investigate adaptive trading models that leverage real-time news analytics and consider the news-based sentiment trend in the market. RavenPack News Scores and other content products created by RavenPack are fully compatible with the Alphacet Discovery platform, creating efficiencies in the quantitative research process.
