A Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG), Mortal Online is currently in public beta and planned to launch throughout Europe and the United States in Q4.

To enable online players to pay for the license and monthly subscriptions, Star Vault has signed an agreement with GlobalCollect to process credit cards, direct debits, and alternative payments in Europe and the US. Additional countries will be added as the game is being rolled out further.

Henrik Nyström, CEO Star Vault, said: "We selected GlobalCollect based on its good reputation and because they presented the best payments strategy for our needs. Plus, GlobalCollect offers the broadest range of local and alternative payment methods - which allows gamers all over the world to pay and play our game."

Jan Manten, CEO of GlobalCollect, added: "Over the last 15 years of servicing the online payment industry, we've gained solid experience offering solutions for the gaming world. Through our single-interface platform WebCollect, payments are fraud-screened, reconciled, authorized, cleared, and reported in real-time. We welcome Star Vault and its next generation MMORPG to our list of innovative game developers."
