Aegisoft launches high frequency spread trading software

Aegisoft, a leading provider of global trading software, solutions and professional services, announced today the release of AthenaSpreader, a server-based high frequency spread trading solution.

The new product inherits the basic functions and algorithmic logic of AthenaTrader, while the internal design was specifically architected to deliver a faster, easier and less programmable solution not available from any other product on the market today.

AthenaSpreader is an out-of-the box spreading solution designed for futures spreaders, pairs traders and arbitrageurs looking to profit on short-lived trading opportunities. This trading software product is venue-neutral, but the initial target audience includes traders on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), BrokerTec, eSpeed, and similar markets. Key benefits of AthenaSpreader include: blazingly fast execution, unlimited legs per strategy, no programming necessary, more degrees of spread configuration than competitors (allowing each company to add their own IP), and real-time and programmatic adjustment of parameters (the solution grows with you).

"The feedback we've received has been outstanding. Industry analysts and beta customers alike have agreed that we've set ourselves apart from the pack," said Stan Adelman, President at Aegisoft. "The introduction of AthenaSpreader is part of our company vision to build products that enable traders to quickly profit on short-term trading opportunities. As a market leader, we will continue to provide trading software solutions that expand our customer base and grow the business as a whole."
