Correlix, a leading provider of objective latency measurement solutions, announced today that 7ticks LLC, has selected Correlix and the RaceTeam service to advance its industry leading latency analysis capabilities and to offer greater transparency to its customers.

7ticks, a leading provider of low-latency managed services for the financial trading sector, will leverage Correlix Latency Intelligence capabilities to conduct in depth latency and performance analysis on its low-latency trading infrastructure.

7ticks will also partner with Correlix to offer the RaceTeamTM service to its high-frequency trading clients. Using the RaceTeam service, 7ticks customers will be able to monitor in real-time and manage latency associated with order execution to US and European liquidity venues.

"7ticks is pleased to continue providing our customers with the best service and transparency into their managed trading infrastructure through Correlix capabilities. Correlix Latency Intelligence capabilities will enable us to perform latency and performance analysis much more efficiently," says 7ticks CIO, John Heflin. "In addition, the RaceTeam service offered by Correlix will allow our customers greater real-time, on-demand visibility into their trade latency."

The Correlix RaceTeam service enables trading firms to manage and, if desired, exchange Latency Intelligence information. The service facilitates greater trading-latency insight into each transaction and leads to optimized trading strategies, improved trade execution and faster inter-party latency problem resolution.

"7ticks is committed to providing the lowest latency proximity and connectivity managed services to its high frequency trading customers," explained Correlix Founder and CEO, Shawn Melamed. "We are happy that by joining the Correlix RaceTeam service, 7ticks will offer its customers critical, real-time trading latency information to improve transparency and help in gaining a significant edge."
