INDATA, the industry-leader in advanced enterprise software solutions for investment management firms, today announced the availability and general release of a new web-based client reporting module based on Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, a new technology from Microsoft.
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services is a comprehensive, server-based solution for creating, managing, and delivering both traditional, paper-oriented reports and interactive, Web-based reports. The solution offers significant cost savings over other competing third party tools that are currently used within the financial industry such as Crystal Reports, which require separate licensing fees and maintenance.
For INDATA clients, the new reporting module will provide significant improvements in their internal and external reporting processes including:
* Centralization of Data: The reporting function resides within the firm via the web
* Increased Speed: Significant improvements in terms of speed and scalability for processing large volumes of client/internal reports
* Reduced Costs: Greater ease of use, flexibility, and reduced costs for customizing reports in-house
* Electronic Delivery/Standard Formats: The ability for electronic delivery of reports based on data-driven subscriptions for a variety of standard formats (PDF, Excel, HTML, XML, etc.)
"INDATA's deployment of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services represents a first within the industry and a quantum leap over what is currently available from most vendor solutions," commented David J. Csiki, Managing Director, "For our current and prospective clients, the combination of INDATA and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services directly translates into significant cost savings both in terms of the internal resources required to support the reporting function, as well as the ability for complete automation and electronic delivery of reports both internally and externally," he added.
